^^ Looks good Michael. :sunglasses:

Do you get much induction noise from it? Any negatives like a loss of performance due to heat soak when it's warm etc or is it all good? :grinning:

Only just fitted it , it is not noisy at all , just a nice whooshing sound , I can't see how heat soak can affect it any more than the standard filter tbh but I may fit a heat shield at some point if I can find one that will suit it , going to get a BCS downpipe and sport cat soon then straight to a 2+ remap .

Seems like a good plan. ;)

Polished mine over the weekend, took all day but the results are worth it.

Well, NHN has been down and sorted the latest updates to mine - great service as always! Bi-xenon headlights now in and working with washer jets in the bumper sorted, LED foglights working also. Rear wiper replaced and working again and the 8V s line steering wheel is in and looking smart. Smoker's delete bits done, really cleans up the centre console. Popped the wheels on too, treat for summer. Next on the list when funds allow; S3 side skirts and drop a few mm on some fresh suspension :)

G'day from New Zealand

Here's my 2004 3.2 in Akoya Silver, only 47000km (29000 miles) with Bilstein/Eibach B12 Pro kit, MTM Bimoto 18s and a few other bits and pieces.

Anyone seen an A3 8P with the wheels below, I believe they are from an A6 ?

Want to see some pics of how they look with the car.

Thanks

Got an Akoya Silver myself, lovely colour. Paintwork looks to be in very good condition, must be the low miles! Nice bimotos too. How much has the eibach kit lowered the car by? 35mm or 50mm?

Looks good mate but no tyre shine after a wash is like having a shower and not washing your **** haha

Haha! I bought the car around a month ago, it had lovely glossy black tyres, and my tyre shine still won't go on the tyres very nicely, it just beads on top.

I've been out today and it's filthy again now anyway typically!

Thanks mate! Eibach kit is the 35mm kit but as the 3.2 is already a bit lower the drop was about 15-20mm. Wasn't sure I'd gone low enough at first but I am very happy with it now. The Bimotos are actually Titanium finish but I've Plasti-dipped them in Metallic Aluminium which makes for a much nicer OEM-like look in my opinion.

@ Michael Parker

I take it your first photo further up the page is without spacers?
On this photo the wheels look to fill the arches better.

The S3 was in need of some TLC but I didn't have the time or patients so I took it to be detailed with paint correction, quite pleased with the results...
