I'm new here and also very dumb, I awoke this morning to find my car as dead as Elvis, i don't appear to have left anything on to drain the battery so i dunno whats causing it. The stupid part is, i don't know how to get into the battery to charge it???? i assume its under the 2nd fuse box but i can't seem to get in??? or is it in the boot? i've never come across this before

In fact how do i even jump it, there only seems to be a +ve post???

Any help would be much appreciated

its a 53plate 3.2 Quattro Sport with 44k miles if any of that info helps.

In the 3.2 the battery is in the boot and you'll need a torx screw driver I believe to remove the hatch to the battey. Open up the boot hatch and lift the carpet up, the battery is on the right hand side. You'll need to be in here if the battery needs replacing...

Alternatively, under the bonnet there is a positive charge point, you can charge the battery from there. As you open the bonnet look to the back of the engine bay (middle slightly to the right) and you will see a plastic cover with a '+' sign on it, just fold this back and apply the charge...
