Just need to check that the rear springs fit on with the adjusters at the bottom of the spring.

If this is the case has anyone found the lower standard spring retainer needs modifying to allow the threader adjuster to fit over it with ease?

Any help or advice would be great.

Yes, I had to file mine down a bit to get them to fit.

If I remember correctly there is a zinc bush on them which seems to rust and looks like its part of the retainer.

I only had to file mine a tiny bit and it fitted okay after that.

Let me know if you get stuck on anything else.

BTW, you will probably find that when you come to adjust the platforms, one will be lower than the other to get the car to sit level. this is normal.

They will probably need adjusting again after a week or so as the springs will bed in a bit and the ride height will alter slightly.

Wait a minute, just read your post again.

As far as I can remember my springs fitted on the adjusters fine. It was the platform on the rear beam that had rusted a bit.

    Sorry for any confusion.

Sounds like the quattro and non quattro are similar with the platform trouble.

On the front, the lower helper spring will be totally squished together and the upper larger spring shouldn't be squished.

On the back the top few coils will probably be touching whereas the bottom few shouldn't be as they will most likely be progressive springs like mine.
The quattro rears may be slightly different to mine tho.
