A3 Black Edition alloy request.

Hi guys, I'm a bit new to this so bear with me. Kerbed my A3 Black edition in the snow last week and needing one new alloy, anyone know where I can get my hands on a second hand replacement as i don't want to pay £450 to the local dealer?

Bet there's no many around yet, anyone who's upgraded on theres will be selling 4 I guess. Your only hope is for a car that's had a smash and there's odd wheels available. You need to just sit in front of ebay for a few weeks or hope someone on here can help.

Is it def beyond repair? Some wheel specialists can work wonders on buckles etc....

I presume £450 is for the set?? Can't you just order one new alloy on its own?

Surely a decent repair centre will sort that wheel for around £40 - £60 if its a typical kerb job?

Audi dealers repair alloys,
I got a letter in just before christmas with repair prices for alloys

Yeah, as do most alloy wheel centres, think a new wheel isn't necessary unless you completely mangled it

you not been to Audi lately? £450 is per wheel so thats £1800 a set.

I think they are priced stupidly high to stop people speccing up cars on the cheap.

Its been quite a few years since I needed a new wheel but can't believe a fairly standard audi wheel is so much now - should of known better though!

Was it you or was it the other half? It happens, mines are all kerbed. You getting any feedback when driving? l will keep an eye out for you as well. Will drop you an email if l find any. lm home on the 17th March.

I have a black edition a3 and i kerbed mine ! i tried loads of alloy repair shops and they could not match the color . As i happened i called in the bradford audi center and asked the guy there.... he had a look said no problem £50 +vat that included taking of and refitting the tyre!! took the car in they put my spacesaver on and told me to come back at lunch time.
went back then car was ready.. wheel was perfect fantastic job all for £59 !!
take it to audi mate best place !
