I am a A3 2002 130BHP owner since a few weeks. The ESP light was on when i bought the car. A week later the blinker relais module was faulty and i replaced it with a new that i bought by the audi dealer.
At the same time i checked my fuses with the ignition on but motor off and since than i have a airbag light on on my dash.
I have bought in meantime a vagcom cable and i read out to see what the faults are.
Can somebody help me to clear the fault codes.
Here a read out of the vcds

Check the plug connector underneath the seat. Sometimes these can be pulled/strained when the seat position is adjusted.

Ignition off, disconnect them;
check for obvious signs of damage/corrosion to the pins;
spray both connectors with a bit of WD40 (or similar);
reconnect looms and then try and clear the light.

Try that and report back.

Hi, i disconnected the cable underneath the seat and read oud than the airbag module
This is the text

I have now put the wires direct together without the connector and i get still the same 2 faults like before.
The code 01217 is now again away like i tried it without connecting the connector.
The thing is that there was never an airbag problem before, it went up when i changed the blinker relais and checked some fuses at the same time. Since than the airbag problem was there.
Could it be that the airbag module is faulty as i have pull out some fuses with the ignition on ?
