A3 8V Black Edition Question: What's the difference?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but after a quick forum search I can't find the answer...

What is the difference between the A3 8V Black Edition specification over standard? I'd appreciate pics also if anyone has them...

I'm considering upgrades to my new motor and want to see what I can do with it.

Seems that way @MattSedg guess that separates the S3 from the A3 in being that extra bit special.

It's because the s3 already has Audi sound system as a standard

That's kinda what I was getting as, the S3 being the premium model has to have something to separate it from the rest so the upgrade is the B&O

I think all questions have been answered above, Black pack also adds Black rear diffuser too.

Also worth checking out the discounted Comfort & Sound Pack for the Black Edition, usually around £995.00 for standard S-line, but around £750.00 for BE and gives you heated seats, rear parking sensors and Bang & Olufsen Sound too, so more bang for your buck.

The online configurator only allows 3 options (brown, red & grey)

I'm sure that there must be a greater choice available than this?

It's the same colour options as S-line or S3 model, so quite range, even Beluga brown BE is available.

Price up a standard s3 saloon and then standard BE S3 saloon using coast2coast, use those figures - a £3k deposit and put that figure in the 'to finance part' in the Audi config tool over 36 months, the BE comes out at £10 per month more! The privacy glass added to the standard S3 would cost that! so you are getting the 'Black Styling Pack', 'Bang and Olufsen Sound System' and the upgraded 19” ‘5-arm-wing’ design alloys for free (man maths)
