Hello,
My brother has a A3 3.2, and is having an intermittant fault with it.
Every now and again the traction control warning light comes on then the engine then cuts out, but then he can restart it straight away, but has to go straightaway, because if you attempt to let it idle, it cuts out again.
But it can be weeks before it can happen again. Took it to the main dealer and they said it needed the earths cleaning on the ECU, which they did, but yet the fault persists.
Can anybody help us??
