A3 2.0 TDI info/advice wanted

Hi,

Just bought my 1st Audi, My previous cars have all been Renault Clio's. I just want to learn a bit more about the car, and any advice etc.

My A3 is a 53 reg 2.0 TDI 140, FSH on 63K miles. Is it worth me getting it remapped? Can you get HID's for them? Is there anything I should look out for i.e common problems etc?

Everything you have asked has been asked many times before.

Remaps will give you a big bang for buck ratio

Hid's will blow your wiper motors after a while.

cylinder head cracking and turbo's dying are apparently a problem on some cars but I haven't has neither on mine (05 80k)

This head crack business is rare. I've ran a few of this engine type in different models, solid great unit.

Get on that search and start reading!
