a3 2.0 tdi do i need to drop subframe to change dual mass?

just got a new clutch and dual mass as sick of chattering noise!was planning on changing it at work 1 night in the week just interested to know if subframe has to be dropped to get box out?had a look and there looks quite a bit of space but not 100% somone must have done one?

I just did my 2.0tfsi clutch and fly, Never had to drop the subframe on it had a fair amount of room to move about in also was done on axel stands.
