A3 1.8T front upper grill - will an S3 Grill fit?

    oh balls, just got an S3 grill sprayed up gloss black before the bumper goes in for a respray too.

    Thought it would fit, but didnt take the original off first to see if it would fit. I did that Mr Bean kind of thing and put it on top of the A3 grill - although they seem to match. Is there much difference in it?

    Im going to see if the bodyshop can make it fit - ie: modify my original bumper.

    Ive tried looking high and low for an S3 bumper but NO luck whatsoever.

    nah you'll struggle to get it to fit mate, the s3 grill is a fair bit bigger in height. i'd just sell it and buy a badgeless a3 grill from ebay, got mine for £20 posted :)

    I'll see what my guy says at the bodyshop if he can do it at a decent price im going to go for it.

    If not i paid £30+50 for getting it sprayed in gloss black....but Ill be open to SENSIBLE offers if the time comes.
