a3 1.8t boost

hi peeps, just fitted a boost gauge to my a3 1.8t. took it out for a spin and it boosts up to around 9 psi but the faster i got the boost needle starts to dropp. is this normal? i have had a look for a leak but nothing stands out to me.
any thoughts?

Thats normal, the boost should fall off around 5k revs as the turbo is actualy quite small

yeah its normal... the little turbo just runs out of puff sadly..

at least there's not a problem.I'm thinking of gettin it remapped would this damage the turbo if it's only a small one?I'd like it to pull abit more. any ideas on pricing and where to go?
