other half hit a big deer somewhere in the countryside in Kent.
bags went off but now replaced and the car wont start.
is there an emergency fuel shut off valve that can be reset manually on the car
like the fords and vauxhalls. or can VAGCOM be used to restore the fuel supply?
i did a lot of research on the net to no avail.
the car is a 1.8t MY09
please can anyone help.

very likely you may need access to vag com to find out. If not have you inspected the battery terminals? On my sisters BMW the airbags deployed in the car and after the repair of the car. It wouldnt start turns out there was a emergency shut off where the battery terminal would (explode) shutting off power.

guess what??
the car mysteriously decided to start today.
guess it was just a fluke.
had all the crash data wiped off and it sounds good.
