1 thing is starting to bug me and the other thing is start to worry me.
1st thing is the windows squeak when they down.
I had the door cards off the other day and lubed up the cables and all the bits in side the door, which makes me think its the window runners/rubbers. Any one found any good lub to put down on the rubbers to stop this squeaking which wont effect the rubbers or leave nasty marks all over the glass?
The other thing is a strong smell of coolant when I turn the temperature up. mainly around 22 degrees.
It mainly happens after the car has been left for a couple of minutes after a trip. Mainly the 5 minute wait before the ferry after a 10 minute drive to the port.
I check most things with in the engine bay and can't see any thing, is this possible heater matrix dieing fault?
All the carpets are dry and can't see any fluid leaking out in side the car.
Any ideas or any thing else to check?
The coolant level has not dropped.
