going to make a glass fibre pod for boost gauge. but i want to cover it in the same material as it comes in standard

i think the roof lining is the same stuff aswel, but only got 2 scrappy near me and they gave me a stupid price for the roof liner

where can i buy it from if any of you know

its bloody hard to trim and make it look good due to all the curves. i just finished mine,
heated it with a heat gun to shape it better to the A pillar.
drilled holes through the pillar and pod, and countersunk the holes in the pod. then screwed through the two so the head sat in the pod below flush.
but nylon lockers on the underside of the screws.
then plastic filler over the screw tops, mask, primer, paint, job done.

that way you dont have to fibre glass on to the pillar.

    thats just 1 option,
i imagine if you got the pillar smoothed in to the pod realy well, and hit it professionaly trimmed it would look brilliant

i tried using headlining material and found it to be so hard to use as its not very flexible, if your doing a single pod may be do'able but still not easy so maybe best to try something different. i moulded mine using fiderglass then painted it piano black like my centre console looks the nuts muts to me
