o.k..... this is not quite what you thought.....
im picking up a new puppy on friday and im having trouble choosing a name for her.
she's a border terrier bitch. ( little scruffy looking scamp of a thing).
i favour the traditional dog names like fido, rover, rex etc... but they are all male names.... i dont wont a girly camp name to be shouting out after her, so im open to your suggestions...

whats your dog/ past dogs called ?

    1) Pronounced - Dee-o-gee (spelt D.O.G.)
    2) Holly (my dog) or any variation like Molly
    3) Bad Weather - Misty, Snowy, Smoggy

I've had Two American Pitbull Terriers called Sandy because of her colour and Sophie because i love that name. Miss them lots and never got over them, so can't bring myself round to getting another puppy :-(

Enjoy the pup, as they grow up so quickly...sounds like i'm talking about kids :)

We have 5 Basset Hounds, 2 of them bitches. We called them Pansy and Daisy, we kept the flower/plant theme for the boys. Oakley and Woody but the fifth we rehomed and he's called Albert so he totally buggered up our themed names.

We were going to go for Meg if we got a girl border collie. It's a boy and went for Sam, but you could use that too really.

We had a dog that came from the PDSA called Pepper, but we couldn't see any connection between the dog's appearance or personality and pepper so we called her Pippa instead.

lol... reasonably. he's got sense of all thats around him, like cars, roads, other dogs, people etc. sometimes he'll just go running off, to look at/sniff something, then he'll come back. they're very indepednant dogs, what with them being using in fox hunting (normally), grab them by the scrufs of their necks to show them who's boss - this part has very lose skin (to avoid being caught by foxes/badgers etc) so it won't hurt them

if you got any other questions, ask away :)

No problem I'll look one out tonight when I get home.

I'm not really into cats as I am alergic to them but claire always wanted one and when poppy turned up it was the excuse she needed.

Never had a dog myself, but have had numerous cats as follows (in order of appearance)

    Turbo
    Cosworth
    Calibra
Opel (ex wife now has him)
Tigra (ex wife now has her)
    Zafira
(Yes, I had a Vauxhall fetish)

Then the kids had some too, as follows
    Simba
    Narla
    James

We also had a bunny, called "Cat" - because he would use the catflap and come running when it was cattie feeding time. Also used to dig everywhere. He also went by the name of Bugs, patch and digger.

I now have a US adopted cat called Tonka.
