A Little Question

08 plate A3 now has a little circular socket with a lift up flap marked AUX in the little recess by the side of the handbrake The salesman said its only just started to be fitted and wasn't sure of its use, he thought i pod and would let me know when Audi told them.

Its an SE with the concert stereo fitted.

Anybody seen / used one before.

I don't have an i pod but i can always nick my daughters

I got told this from a member on here a few weeks ago: "From week 48 they now have free Aux Input for Ipod,MP3 in centre tray"

not just iPod - anything with a headphone jack can be plugged into it. you'll need a 3.5mm-3.5mm adapter to plug into each jack.

I think you have to press the CD button twice to get to the AUX input (or three times if you have a CD changer installed).
