'96 Avant towbar

I'm looking for a towbar for my '96 Avant,
preferably a removeable/invisible type,

What has anybody got ?

Which type do you recommend ?

Where can I get one (cheap) ?

i got one for sale currently on my 96 avant - £65 with all electrics + postage
not the removable type though. i have the reciept here, it cost £160

Does it require much cutting of the bumper?
I'd like to be able to return the car to as near as standard when it comes to selling.

i don't think it needed any mods as bumper looks standard externaly........ if you mean non visable modifications then maybe, if you like I'll check underneath?

A pic of it fitted would be good.

Most require a section of bumper to be removed.

i'll check tomorrow. would the bumper section that is removed be visable externally? if that is the case then this is fine.

i'll post a picture up tomorrow.
if i take it off the car i believe i have to remove the bumper..... anyone got any advise of how to remove it? how long should the removal take?

To replace the bumper I think you'll need the original bumper brackets,they are normally replaced by the towbar mounting brackets which attach to the mounting points inside the chassis legs.

SORRY ABOUT THAT, I WAS WRONG.......
a tiny amount of the plastic valance on the underside of the bumper has been cut away in order for the tow bar to be fitted. if you need any more info please let me know
