    Hi All

I'm currently looking at converting my single DIN stereo to a double with the future plans to install an RNS-E. Can anyone tell me if the above part number is correct for a Double DIN Climate Control (8P0820043K 5PR)?
    Thanks

My car is a 54 Plate A3 Sportback SE 2.0tdi.

The part has been lifted from a 2006 3.2 Quattro S-Line.

Also, is the 5PR an indicator its for a Double DIN, as it seems to be common on Double DIN parts I look at.

Thank you for the welcome. The forum has been very useful so far. However, my partner may disagree once she works out how much I'm spending.

Part number is for a Double-DIN unit.

5PR is the colour code, Soul Black, which is the only colour that the Climate Units come in.

Just be careful you dont grab a black version that was mid 07 onwards as this used a different heater system setup.

It doesn't look black to me...

    and what a deal £18 + £9p&p

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

Now all I need is everything else... I was amazed at the prices for the cages on ebay. literally £'s cheaper than from Audi (I phoned up and got the prices).

I presume no coding is required if I put a Concert Headunit in as a temp. measure?
