    Does anyone have information, or know where I can find information, on 5 cylinder alluminium engine blocks.

    Guess this would be the S1 or sport quattro, engine code KW.

    I just read another post on motorgeek,
    there were some ur quattrros with an alloy block, engine code WR.
    Audi did this to homologate the alloy block, they stipulated that the block be exchanged for the normal iron one at 60k.
