Greetings all,

Thought I had better sign up after lurking for some time.

Just bought my latest, and probably a "keeper" for some time. 2013 S8 :)

Before I have had...
2010 D4 A8 4.2Tdi - 7k-78k miles. Phantom Black.. never missed a beat.
2006 S6 V10 - 5k-38k miles - Aurora Blue - Never missed a beat, but cost me a ****** fortune!
2005 A6 V6 3.0Tdi - 6k-55k miles - Aurora Blue - the car that hooked me on the 4 rings...!

I'll put some pics up of the monster in the A8/S8 section.
But for now...

Hi and welcome ScaredJimmy :sign_welcome:
Wow that is a beast of a car! :hubbahubba:
If you don't mind just one question on your previous cars..
You say the S6 V10 Never missed a beat, but cost you a fortune?? Care to elaborate? Just curious!
Going to check the S8 thread now.. :beerchug:

Cheers
Ben

The S6.. ahhhh.
Reasons for much £££ spendiness were as follows:-
1) I was a quite "spirited driver" with it so munched through tyres.
2) 2 sets of disks and pads required at the front, one set at the rear.
3) Trip to the 'ring destroyed one set of front disks and pads and a resulting brake fire ****** the lacquer on the front rims
4) It NEEDED (honest) a MillTek exhaust system to make the V10 sing.
5) Petrol... lots and lots of it :superman:

Hi Jimmy, welcome to audi-sport.net. Very nice car. Hope you enjoy the forum, :) x

Ah I see nuff said - I did wonder :yum:
Well it will be good to see how you get on with the S8! But these bigger engines are there to be enjoyed so hey ho!

All the best
Ben
