Ever since I got the car third dosent pull very hard atall. A friend has just got a Cupra that's stage one but pulls twice as hard I don't have a boost gauge currently and have no boost leaks any ideas?
3rd gear seems powerless?

What's your car and what's the spec mate?
From your name, I'd guess it's a TQ. If its an early one with a ko3 and a st1 map then it'll be nowhere near as quick as a st1 Leon Cupra. Yours will be about 180-190bhp with 4wd losses and lots of weight, and the Cupra with its mo3s will be more like 200-210bhp with less transmission losses and less weight.

get access to vagcom or invest in it yourself, and it will save you a lot of angst/expence getting diagnosis...
