hi all does anybody know the part number for the 312mm front caliper carrier bracket i intend uprating my front brakes from 288mm to 312mm . also do any of you know which audis have the 312mm front brakes as standard. and as anybody done this and is it worth the effort any advice would be very much appreciated

Yep you need the carriers of a 2.5 or 3.0.
I've done this conversion, its pretty good but then my OE brakes were shot so i'm not sure how much of an improvement it is, looks better.
I might sell the whole lot if an S4 set comes along.
