Hi

I'm looking at changing up from my 1.9tdi to a 3.0tdi. Am looking at ones around 05/06. Is there anything I should watch out for on them?
Is high mileage, 90K ,any problem?
Have seen a few with the tiptronic gearbox, any issues with those I should be aware of before getting one?
Also what are the differences between the 204BHP version and the 240 version?

Think the 230 is quite different from the earlier 201. I have an early one with 107k on the clock, it has a rattle on the starter motor but that's it. On the whole i'm really pleased with it.

I bought a manual for the performance and better economy but sometimes wish I'd driven an auto to test.

It does about 450 miles on a tank.

Think engine wise it's different mapping and injectors. Other than that differences are DPF related.
