2nd service due date?

OK, mine is just coming up for it's first (18200).

For tose of you that have been through the first one, was the second one projected at a similar mileage or was it less/more?

First was due at 15,800, but put in at 14,950. Not done enough miles for display to give reading as yet. Will let you know as soon as.

Mine rekons it'll need it's first service at 15400, but then i'm only at 7800 at the mo.... so a long time til the 2nd service I hope!!

First service was about 17800 miles for my 2.0TDi and DIS is giving a similar projection for second service which will be soon. (About 1200 miles left)

Err...my 1st service is projected at under 14000 - this is not so good then??

i do a lot of long journies, which is why mine is probably higher...

I do a lot of small journeys and have done 3400miles since I got my 2.0TDI new in June '04. (didn't get it because I needed fuel economy!)

My service indicator says service in 8200miles or 265 days.
Haven't had to touch the free oil the dealer gave me with the new car and I haven't even had to top up the windscreen washer bottle yet!
