2DIN conversion to NEW sleek buttons?? 2011?

    OH FFS, I wanted the new buttons AND climate control, just gonna sell my climate control on, and now don't know what to do about

    You can have the new buttons anyway, they dont rely on newer climate.

    I thought I could but I didn't realise there were 2 types of double din cages until Ewan said so and like Ewan I dont want to chance it
    as I've just learned my lesson with the climate unit

    The difference between the 2 cages are a dremel away from identical :)

    I have just finished doing my conversion to these buttons I wanted to do it for ages but didn't want to comment on this thread until I was sure it was possible.
    I followed the steps for the single din to double din coversion as someone mentioned to find all the fixing points, then it all went back together fine even the climate control is in perfectly. Looks so much better than the original dash, only thing is I bought it with the hazard front switch missing so need to get that then I'll try upload some pictures.

    i have a TPMS button to fit the MY11 '6' button (without card slot) configuration if someones interested :)

    i thought it was all one button on MY11? ie a bank of buttons all joined together.

    It is all 1 strip in MY10 & MY11.
