    17"

    235 - 45 - R17

Would they stick out from the wheel arch or rub?

I am thinking of fitting some b6 star alloys that have these tyres on..

    On my 17's i have 225 45 17.

Why do you want to change the width of the tyres.

Perhaps if you had 19's you should fit 235 35 19.

I need to buy new ones anyway. I was just thinking it may look sweeter from the back to have wider tyres on.

I would not think it will look that different and i would just stick to the normal size.

Just get some 225 45 17 Eagle F1's and you will not go wrong.

Yeah, think i'll stick to 225's

F1's are approx £120 a peice. Can you recommend a good budget tyre? I want to spend as little as possible..

    Get them from here

    www.mytyres.co.uk

    Under £90 each.

Dont skimp on tyres especially at this time of the year.

I have Kumo's on my 19s and they are rubbish, on my 17s i have F1's and i have so much more confidence driving with them.

You will regret it if you buy cheaper tyres. In my view of course.

    Cheers

There are no good budget tyres, the clue's in the name.
Tyres are the last place you should ever skimp on quality, especially when you can get decent Goodyears for £90
