For about 2 months I had been feeling a deep clunk while reversing and turning the steering wheel. I checked all the suspension bolts front and rear and nothing seemed amiss. While I was under the car, I also saw the large transmission cross member and decided to check those four bolts. Bingo! The factory torque spec was 70 Nm and mine were all about half that much. Neither my wife nor I have felt or heard the clunk since I retorqued those bolts.
