I have a 2010 A3 Black Edition fitted with the Bose speakers, bluetooth phone connectivity and the Concert head unit. I want to upgrade to the RNS-E 8P0 035 193 with AMI, as i have the factory fitted bluetooth, will i then be able to stream music via bluetooth and control via my controls on the steering wheel??

    Thanks in advance

    Welcome to the site.

You can only stream when using ami with rns-e & the ami wireless dongle.

We offer supply/fit of the whole system if interested & can usually come to your location.

    Thanks,

Why do i need the dongle if i already have a bluetooth system fitted into the car?!

If i was to get the dongle would i then be able to utilise the bluetooth calling function i currently have through the RNS-E or would that be on a seperate original bluetooth "network"?

The audi bt is just for phone usage, not anything else.

You need the ami dongle to stream.
