I haven't ordered it as it's cheaper to fit one aftermarket obviously.

It's got the standard concert i think, double DIN head unit so my question is will it go strait in or do I need some sort of connection cables.

I have looked at the sticky post above but it only talks about the symphony.

Any help here would be great, I also want to fit a bluetooth module too, so I was wondering if there was an aftermarket unit that works with the RNS-E instead of the audi one?

thank you for your help here guys

I've you've not ordered the car yet then I would spec the BT, it'll save lots of time and aggro for similar money IMHO.

I have no idea what installing oem bt involves but just looking at the fitted price on ebay i guess its a pain?

I can recommend the basic nokia BT carkit. Easy to install/use etc

I have no expeience with RNS-e or the 8P in general

I have noticed that the aftermarket fitting is just as much as factory.

Should have looked harder really before ordering the car.

I wonder though, is it worth just going for a unit like the F900BT or DNX 5220BT they seem to come all in, and play DVD's for about the same money?

Think I need a play with one first.
