Hi all,
Wonder if anyone can shed some light on this fault.
Driving to work this morning, stopped for a coffee, when restarted the engine there was a new sound, a rattling/vibration coming from the engine bay, gets considerably worse when trying to steer left.
The engine will not rev above 2500rpm and when I lift off, there is a whooshing sound on the over run. No additional smoke, mpg readout still seems normal around 45-50mpg, no overheating..
I have no lights or warning messages on the dash.
I have a 50 mile drive home this evening but I dropped into a local VW/Audi indy from down the road from the office, who may or may not look at it.
Car been driving fine up till this happened this morning, currently on 97k, I don't do short journeys and have never seen the DPF light or any warnings for that fact in the last 2.5 years of ownership
Hope someone can help and I'll be able to discuss with garage if they get a chance to look at it later. I hate using garages that I've no recommendation or experience but I don't have any other option to get me home tonight.
