Hi all, I have a 2009 'face lift' sportback tdi s.line with the led rear lights fitted as standard.

My problem is that the smaller rear light, which is on the boot lid seems to have developed a fault.
Some times the led tail light part will work and some times it dosent. There is clearly a fault some where but I could do with a bit of help finding it.

I even ordered a replacement from audi, which made no difference, so at least I know the fault is not with the light unit its self.

Does any one have a wiring diagram?

    Thanks in advance.

Check the boot hinges for any frayed/damaged wires, remove bootlid trim & look inside aswell, check connectors for any corrosion.

Thanks for the suggestion, checked all that. It all seems ok.
Is the light on the boot lid linked to the main light in any way?
After taking the main light apart, it seems to work for a bit, so Im guessing that the problem could be coming from that area?

Any one have a wiring diagram?

    Thanks

Just check the wire colours, should be same either end.
