Is it wheel spinning (the traction light should flash with this) or are the revs rising with no increase in road speed?

Also, don't type in full capitals please. Thanks.

If the Haldex has failed,it's possible to lose traction at the front relatively easily,as you'd be loading the front wheels only.

When you say you replaced the rear diff,do you mean you replaced the Haldex as well?

Well....as you've already noted, there's clearly some remaining problem there, and having done the really expensive thing, and replaced the mechanicals, you're left with things like the Haldex controller, and maybe wiring faults.
Do you have a decent tuner around who can take a look at it for you,as trying to diagnose intermittent faults across the internet is going to be difficult.

    Then that's the best solution.

Statler as you know have a very good reputation, and should be able to get to the bottom of the problem, and staying off the boost should keep you out of the ditches until then!

I can at least turn the boost down on mine.

Better than smoking your tyres and still being burnt off.

Hope it turns out to be something simple and not costly.

Simple things you can do yourself, if you have confidence, would be to get underneath (jacked up and secured with axle stands) and give the wiring loom to the Haldex control module a visual inspection. You would be looking for any corrosion/damage to the wires and or plug connector.

Also check the Earth strap to the rear differential making sure it's not fraying or broken.

Was the haldex oil level checked on the "new" diff when it was fitted? Could be as simple as no or little oil in the system.

Failing the above taking it a specialist would be the best option fella. Hope it's something not too costly bud.

My TDI quattro done something similar. Front wheels would spin and no faults on the dash. Audi diagnosed it as the oil pump in the haldex and replaced under warranty. The oil pump is quite cheap. Specialist workshop would be best.
