I am looking to find a 2006 A4 Cab (probably a 2.0T) with Multitronic.

Are there any issues I should be aware of or to look out for ?

The multitronic gearbox should have an oil change at 40k I think, I wouldn't know anything else about the cabs sorry.

Yep that's right, my A4 Cab is in for a 40k service next week and I was told the oil in the 'box needs changing - another £100 on top of the service !!

cheaper than the DSG then my dealer wants £170 to change the fluid in that.

i'm considering multitronic only because i'm looking at auto options

going to do a bit of research on them

i assume all multitronics are the same, if any issue i.e. be it 2.0T, 2.0tdi, a4 or a6 etc.?

Actually, I am a little confused with Multitronic.

Does Audi do two different type of autos - CVT and multitronic ?

I have seen second hand 2.0T s advertises with some saying 5 gears and others 7 !

Is one a mis-print ?

All front wheel drive Audis have the Multitronic or CVT box This unit is possibly the worst product Audi have ever produced ! It costs an absolute fortune if it plays up Bills in excess of 7K are not unheard of ! All Audis With Quattro are the more conventional Tiptronic Autos And are mostly very reliable !!!

Multitronic Can be an absolute nightmare !!!!!
