2005 A4 Avant 2.5 TDi SE Heated seats

Hi

New to Audi A4 & new to the forum...

I have recently purchased an A4 Avant SE which has had a fair few mods along the way, one of which is full Alcantra trim and front Recaro heated electric seats.

The heated seats do not appear to work and the heater controls on the dash do not light up when rotated..

I'm not sure if the heater controls are a mod or original to the original SE spec of the vehicle and whether the seats are heated or not...

Any info gratefully accepted....

Remove the climate unit & check if it has associated wiring 1st, also check under seats on connectors & see if any wires dont have matching pins on floor connector.
