Please help guys... I've been all over the web with this 1.

I've just spend close to 2k on the car this year... oil cooler failure, old pump/ balancer shaft failure and replaced Turbo... The car is 2005 BLB engine...

However I now have an issue while accelerating through the gears moderatly that the car judders or misfires, kind like its not getting air or fuel...

This happend between 1800 and 2500 RPM.

If I accelerate hard its not as noticable

The turbo has been replaced as well as the balancer shaft and oil pump...

There are no faults on VDCS...

I also fitted a new MAF but had to remove it as the car ran lumpy at idle and smoked allot but appeared to run fine while driving for a short period before I removed it again and put back in the old MAF.

I'm now waiting for a new MAF...

Could this be the issue?

1 other poing to note that the thermostate needs to be replaced after the oil cooler failure... takes a long time to reach 90 degrees and seems to drop back down to 7o while driving.

Please help....

So I've been driving the car the last 2 days with the MAF disconnected and the stuttering has stopped, altought I'm driving around with the CE light on in the dash.

I had replaced the MAF but returned it due to the car spluttering at idle - I'm gonna get another MAF and see if this is better.

Any ideas other than th MAF?

Lambda sensor ? Could be sending wrong info, this can effect the
Mix too.
Lexus had a similar issue and the lambda was at fault with one owner
