2004 S4 - Valentine One Triggered by?

New owner of a 2004 S4 with premium/upgraded Bose/heated seats, etc. Upon installing my V1 - once the unit is done cycling at startup - it detects some signal apparently originating from the car and signals nonstop. Tested the V1 in another car without incident.

Please advise any clues.

Is it picking up one of the red led's as a laser alert.
Try mounting it high on the windscreen up against the roof.

I have it mounted on the driver side visor - which is adjacent to the LED's for the HomeLink....

The strange thing is I have used the V1 previously in this car without incident - but remember mounting it in the same place.

I'll try mounting it in different locations per your advice.
