2004 A4 1.8T, automatic transmission change?

    Have 2004 A4 1.8T automatic transmission, 70K miles - been current on all service but can't find any direction in owners manual or maintenance book on transmission fluid flush or change? what's recommended?

    I am researching and planning for Timing belt change and wanted to make sure if it made sense to do transmission at same time while car is all pulled apart.

    If its the multitronic box then it should be changed every 40000 miles. If it hasn't been done do it sharp ish. £200 at Audi garage but well worth it, considering new gearbox in excess is £4000
