Probably would keep up without a problem I believe... The problem comes if the S3 is chipped...

I thought the 3.2 was slow when i drove one. Felt slower than my then standard S3 (sound was different class though). Id go with a new S3 every time. All you need is a remap for £500. That will finish that argument.
Its the age old thing of once the turbo is spun up and giving maximum boost there is a kick in accelation where the 3.2 dosen't give the same
sensation but is still acceleration very quickly.
