2.8 Quattro Avant Chipping

Two colleagues of mine have this mini competition going. One has a A3 1.8t Quattro, and the other has recently bought a A4 2.8 Quattro. And they're now argueing about whose is quicker and this has led to questions about modifications.

I can reel off a big list of mods for the 1.8t, but can't think of anything definite off hand for the 2.8.

Was thinking off a chip/remap but Jabba don't seem to list any. So does anyone do remapping on this car.

And then, how much would a RS4 style set of 18's cost? with tyres. Is Rochford the way forward?

There are a few that do but you can always drop a Supercharger kit in.

It's not all about which one's faster. There's more to life than horsepower. The 1.8T is lighter, more agile & can be modified, but the V6 is smoother & classier, and still very fast, just as it comes. They're both great cars, but very different. Choose the one that best suits your driving style & needs.
