Not sure if this is the correct place to put this, but still... I have been looking at buying a 2.0 Cabriolet (1996-9), but have seen a 2.8 Cabriolet (98) which I quite like. I do 'some' field work which is why I was looking at a fairly low litreage (is that a word?). Can someone tell me what kind of mpg increase there is likely to be from a 2.8 over a 2.0? The 1998 2.8 has around 70,000 miles and has been well maintained. The owner has told me he 'thinks' it might get anywhere from 20-25 mpg doing 'normal' driving, but he really isn't sure. Can anyone here advise what I might expect?
