Wondering if anyone has had one of these refurbished/rebuilt?

The car has done 183k and is becoming increasingly more difficult to select gears - its not crunching, just noticing that its requiring more force to get into gear.
I have owned the car since 120k and carried out two gearbox oil changes (Fuchs Oil) so dont think its down to old/low oil.
At this mileage, im expecting mechanical wear, either on the shift rods/forks or the detent pins.
Has anyone ever worked on one of these boxes? (The code for my gearbox is GBB)

Considering removing the box and sending to a specialist, or trying my luck with a used gearbox.

Anyone offer any suggestions?

I would suspect this could be a clutch issue rather than the box. Was your clutch replaced or are you still on the original?

I'm sure there was a thread recently on notchy gear selection, it had a link to a video on adjusting the selection mechanism to clear it up. Might be worth a shot before the expense & effort of dropping the box.

Can't find the thread but this was the video...

Thanks for your suggestions - will check over the linkages when the car is in the air later.
