2.4 v6 2001 wobbly gear linkage

[V6 family guy]

Hello chaps

The gear linkage doesn't feel as tight or positive as it should, could would like it to be.

Has anyone found a cure or is it a mission to rectify?
Also are there any downloadable workshop manuals around.
Any help would be excellent

As far as maunals go You can get elsawin from ebay for a tenner. bit of a pig to install but i found copying all the files to the hard drive first and then install worked fine.

Linkage wise no idea i am sure it can be adjusted but dont know how as i have never done it
