Just had my Avant serviced at Awesome in Irlam, Manchester, and they have given me the APR remap trial.
First impressions are very good. The thing is like brown stuff off a shovel ;)
Any one got any good tips for making the most of the trial so that I make the most of every minute that it's on?
I held the revs at about 3.5k RPM when exiting a roundabout in 3rd but was worried that I might burn out my clutch or rec the turbo so chickened out and released the accelerator pedal to bring back to normal.
Gonna wait for the rush hour to die down then take it for a blast up the A34 :)

So are you going to get the APR map then? I've read that it's better than the equivalent Revo map - but I have no idea if that's true or not.

Once I cured my oil leaks, an exhaust and remap are next.

What did you think of Awesome? I may use them in future.

So what's the remap trial all about? Is it like a try before you buy?

I wouldn't worrie about the clutch unless it's high mileage. Get your boot down! :)

you kept it just right at 3.5k off the r'bout, even better at 3k in 2nd off the roundabout and put your foot down, then through the gears ..it just flies!!

As above the poor fella won't be flying anywhere dude!!
The only place that car is flying now sadly is Audi Heaven where 2.0tfsi's are more bullet proof
than supermans ball bag, DV valves remain in one piece longer than a nuns hymen, Cam followers are harder than a porn stars @@@@ and Oil pumps suck
harder than Monica Lewinsky with a dyson up her hoop.

    The car is dead.

But I find drinking Vodka helps water down the pain of Audi smashing
ones back doors in like satan with a trident missile strapon.

Keep quiet though because Audi wound hate you to tell it how it really is!

    :(
