I have a slight problem with my temperature gauge not working correctly.

It never seems to get up to 90 degrees, always sits around the 80 mark.

The heaters work perfecty and get really hot.

I'm guessing it's the coolant temperature sensor or the thermostat that's at fault.

The engine is a 2.0 TFSi. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Does the temp vary? Mine did the same thing, used to get colder when coasting.

It needed a new thermostat. Cost £30 odd from Audi (got the wrong one first from euro carparts). Took about 3 hours for me to swap.
