Hi
I recently bought an Audi A3 2.0 TDI 150cp and I read in the user's manual that for breaking in the engine needs to stay at 2/3 of the maxim available rpm. This means that it should stay below 2/3*6000 = 4000rpm.
The guys at the dealership told me that I should also change the gears as the cars computer tells me but I'm afraid it makes me switch gears too early because i never reach more then 1600rpm and I know that at this rpm the turbine doesn't even start.
What's your experience with engine break in ?
Thanks
