I currently own an 52 plate A6 Quattro sport but ive found an A3 2.0 T FSI that ive taken a liking to its got a full audi service history with 115 on the clock on a 2007 plate i know its high miles but it drives well and has one owner with full audi stamps my question is its due a cambelt and water pump change but is the engine chain driven ? if so what will it need waterpump, pulleys changed ? any input would be great thanks

Belt driven so belt, pulleys, tensioners and water pump to do it right.

As above, and I assume it's already had one cambelt change and is due its second at that mileage???

Theirs nothing in the history that specifically says its had a cam belt change

If it's been fully serviced by Audi it should've been done - they should be able to check for you.

If in doubt, change it. It costs a hell of a lot less than the repairs if it goes.
