1999 to 2004 seat conversion? straight swap?

i have a 1999 a6 avant and have been offered an interior from a 2004 avant. does it fit?

i'd say so, it's only a couple of bolts n clips.

so that interior fell through but been offered one from a saloon. is the avant and saloon rear seats swapable?

yeah i'd say so as the door cards are the same and the seats are still 60/40 split

cool thanks evomaster, can anyone confirm this as i fell into this trap with my a4 and found out the hard way that the seats weren't compatible from saloon to avant.........

I just installed a set of sedan interior on my avant.

front seats ok

rear seats ok but...

those side bolsters don't fit.

one another problem. the cargo net that is attatched to the rear avant seats. the sedan seats don't have the support for the cargo net.
