19" Rims on a 1.8 TFSI?

    Hi guys do you think 19" rims on a 1.8TFSI would be ok? I mean in terms of it fitting properly and not scraping anywhere.

    Depends on the tyres you fit. A 35 profile would be only a couple of mm bigger than the 40 profile on 18" rims.

    As long as it is 8J. 8,5J requires modifications in the wheel arch.

    VW fit these to the Mk7 GTI.

    8J x 19" 'Santiago' alloy wheels with 235/35 R19 tyres.

    Does 8J also apply if fitting 19's to the new S3 Sportback? ET? 225's?
