I need to focus on getting my car repaired rather than modding it so have decided to put my wheels up for sale, if they sell great otherwise I will struggle along and look to fit them at some point, these were going to go on my S3.

They are all in very good condition with the black one needing painting to match the rest, the black paint is flaking off it.

The pair of Falken 225 35 19 Tyres are in near new condition having covered less than 500 miles on another set of rims before being removed, they as such have 7+ mm of tread on them so plenty of life left.

Just need another pair of tyres and some adapters.

    Price £450

    Cheers,

Yep That is Supreme's one, it's what made me go looking for these alloys and to his credit he has been very helpful answering the tons of Q's I fired over to him about getting them to fit.

If I can't shift them then I will get them on the car at some point.

I now have a full set of four Falkens.

If the alloys sell on their own I'd be looking for £300 for the set of tyres.

Hey mate, nice wheels haven't seen them on an S3 8L before!

I am interested in the gear gaitor if it is still available? Is it new/new condition?

Would like to replace mine as its quite dried and cracked.

    Thanks,

That is Alex/supreme's car in the pic and is the one that made me go out and hunt down the wheels, wish I'd gotten them on my Audi.

Yes it is in very good condition, I can upload a couple more pics of it that I took a few minutes ago.

Thanks for the extra pics mate. I will check out mine again but I am pretty sure it's a mess compared to this one!

So this was off your car?

Oh yeah and what's happened with your car and how come you didn't get wheels on? (hope you don't mind me asking)

I'm not massively into the modding side of things myself but some wheels like these just look so nice!

Cribbon - I hadn't even realised i forgot to put that info up:-

    Wheel Specs:-

    5x120
    ET53
    9x19"

I was speaking with Adam at G23 engineering about adapters and he quoted me £225 for a set the same spec as the Audi in the pic.

Poke13 - No it wasn't off mine, when i bought my car the glovebox was broken so it worked out cheaper for me to buy a complete dashboard from a facelift model, use the glovebox and illuminated vents on mine, sell the centre console and stereo and just skip the rest.

I have only had my S3 for a year (Just) and have spent most of that time paying for it to be fixed/modded, i have another large repair bill coming up and tbh it will be a really sound motor after that as I have had to get most of the problems with an S3 sorted already, but I find I now actually hate the car so no point in modding it any further. I will just pay for it to be fixed and then sell it (I should just drive it to get some value out of the money I have spent).

I've picked up another Mk4 Golf yesterday (had one prior to getting the S3) and I will just drive that as it is for a year or two and let my pocket heal.

That's a shame about the car mate I know how you feel though I've had mine nearly 2 years now and in some ways I don't know how I have still got it. Had to get clutch and flywheel done couple of months ago :S

Been thinking the same thing about Mk4 Golf Diesel to try and gain some money back but I don't drive many miles at moment. Just love the Audi though :(

Is it £10 for gaitor inc P&P?

You just reminded me, it's also going to have it's 3rd clutch setup in less than a year, but a least all is getting sorted on it finally.

I went looking for a diesel but with almost no money I ended up with an old Mk4 Gti that's had an R32 lump shoved in it, this could get a lot more expensive than the S3!!!

    Yep £10 posted

Same lump as mine, thirsty is right, mid 20's day to day, a little more on the motorway and a lot less with a heavy foot!

Having said that, best car I've ever owned.

Got any pics of the golf?

GLWS, wheels look amazing on an 8L.

I am not a fan of the rear lights, tints, alloys, carbon fibre bonnet or grill BUT the sound makes me forget about all of that.

I may head over to Ace next week so could catch you then.

I am finding that it grows on me, or rather the noise makes me not care what it looks like at all. crazy, crazy fuel bills though!!
