And i will not get any rubbing ?

I would imagine you would need 215 tyres from what I have read.

It all depends on tyre make apparently also

I just keep the seat warm till the clever people get here :respekt:

What is dirt cheap then?

come on, you have bragging rights if they were uber cheap :)

3 of the wheels were on ebay as the last owner had them on his vw and crashed in the snow and smashed the one .
insurance paid out for new ones
so he listed them and i was watching them on saterday i bid £80 for each as they was listed separately and i won them for £77 each .
And then i had a look on ebay and awesome was selling there 19" BBS wheel from there old show car for £290 .
so i emailed al and offered him £250 .
He emailed me back and said he can do it for £270 shiped to my door .
So when they come on webnesday they are going to City powder coaters to be done in Black . £20 each bargain .
so with out rubber £581 BARGAIN

As advised the other day, these will be perfect.

With that offset, 225's will be fine.

With ET50 and 235 you will get no rubbing as that is what setup Boydie is running...

Depends, I ran 235's with ET50 and it rubbed a fair bit. Disappeared when I went to 225's.

so you are the git who bought them on ebay.

I was watching them and forgot to bid LOL!

I was watching these too, the Guy was based down south and had them on his T4 VW van !!

good lad I thought they were too cheap so was suspicious, I'm chuffed for you, apparently a very good wheel refurber somewhere in Marston green .

Good find

Yep thats me lol and i only just got home in time for them . when i first seen them i offered him £400 to end tha auction .
and he said he was offerd £450 and said no to it .
And there was 47 watchers on them so he said .

Thats chris from the wheel doctor i use to train with him and he done my subaru wheels .
He sprays with 2pac them not powder coats them .

I know thats me as bad as a jew lol

i had the same issue as v6pete.
i am running 235/35/19 yoko S drives and i had lots of rubbing on the back wheels.
had to remove a fender screw on each side of the rear to sort the problem.

ideally you would want to run 225/35/19's.
thats with a set of 19 inch bbs ch 50 offset and 8j.

Even with a boot full, and people in the back?

Mine was on coilovers, and rubbed on every drive.

225's are more cash, but worth the extra for the piece of mind IMHO.

In my TDI, I had my sound system, full boot, 3 guys in the back, me and another in the front and zero problems, no rubbing, got on and off the boats no problem, drove all the way from stranrear to silverstone to holyhead to dublin to belfast.

No problems what so ever

In the S3, I have it lowered on H&R springs, went from Belfast to Dublin to Holyhead to Northampton (edition 38) to Holyhead to Dublin to Belfast with a full boot (with fridge) and back seat with 2 passengers and zero issues.

ive heard from several tyre/wheel specialists it all depends on the individual tyre.. e.g toyos are known to give a stretch look even on the 225's!

If your car rubs on 235's then you are gay, plain and simple :p

Nath's rubs on 215's, that makes him gayer than the Village people and Alan carr put together, but I guess thats common knowledge now. ha ha ha!!!

just listed in classifieds.. set of bbs ch 19 exc cond £1100... good price!
